The latest mission to Mars, Insight, plans to launch on May 5, 2018! The goal is to land a seismometer on the Red Planet to measure marsquakes and search for traces of tectonic movement. I find this very relevant to my research for Book 2, but I don’t think any data will be back in time before I publish! But it is very interesting!!
Today & tomorrow get a FREE ebook copy of 20 Million Leagues Over the Sea on Amazon!
Grab it while it’s hot!
20 Million Leagues Over the Sea is FREE for Amazon Kindle this weekend, April 28 & 29!
In preparation for my rolloff of Kindle Unlimited on May 6, I am offering the ebook of 20 Million Leagues Over the Sea for free on Amazon next weekend, April 28 & 29.
It’s available to anyone who wants to download it, including anyone who is in the middle of reading it on Kindle Unlimited! I didn’t want anyone to be cut off in the middle of the story.
After that, the ebook will be available on a variety of platforms, including Amazon, Smashwords, and B&N, among others. I will add links to the book link pages for these new platforms in due time.
Hello all –
My current agreement with Kindle Unlimited ends on May 6. After that, I will be taking 20 Million Leagues Over the Sea wide again. It will still be available for sale on Amazon, just not in the Kindle Unlimited library. This will allow me to make it available once more on additional sites, such as Smashwords, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.
I would love to stay on Kindle Unlimited. Unfortunately, that requires that the book be exclusive to Amazon and the Kindle format. I really want for the work to be accessible in a wide range of formats. It was a tough choice to make, but I think this will make 20 Million Leagues available to a wider audience.
For current readers of the book on KU – I plan to have a “free” day or so before the changeover. During that time, you will be able to pick up the book for free so you can continue reading at no extra charge. I’ll announce the exact dates here and on Twitter, so stay tuned!
The price will remain the same during this changeover. I plan to keep the ebook at $2.99 and the printed version at $12.99.
Thank you all for your encouragement and support. I hope to have Book 2 out soon!
I have just added a new menu item, “Historical References”. It is a living list of the books I have read and/or keep on hand as reference for The Nemo Paradox series. If you are interested in additional reading about the science or history in the books, feel free to look at the list. It’s a very simple list in no particular citation format. The actual list is quite long, so I will be adding to it over time.
An enormous THANK YOU to everyone that picked up 20 Million Leagues Over the Sea during the free book sale! The book made it to #2 in the Free Steampunk Ebook Category for a bit, which makes me very happy! I hope you enjoy the story!
I’ve made enormous progress on Book 2: The Mysterious Planet of Captain Moreau and hope to have it out soon!
